CBPU has teamed up with Payment Service Network (PSN) to provide a safe, fast and secure way to view and pay your bills online. 

You can use your checking / savings account, credit and debit card: such as Mastercard, Visa and Discover or process your payment by calling the 24 hour payment line at 1-877-885-7968.

If your account is within two days of disconnection, we strongly advise you to contact the CBPU Customer Service Department with a confirmation / receipt number after you make your payment online.  This will help prevent any further disconnection process taken on your account.

If you are currently disconnected, you must call the CBPU Customer Service Department with a confirmation / receipt number, verifying payment.  Services WILL NOT automatically be restored when an account is paid online. Deposit and reconnect fees are required to restore service.

Q. How long does it take for my payment to post to my account?  
A. Payments are made before 8:00 PM will post to your account the next business day.  Payments made after 8:00 PM will post in two business days.  Payments can be viewed real time by CBPU personnel, but a direct contact to our office will be needed.

Q. I am having difficulty registering my profile or logging in to my account?
A. Contact Payment Service Network at 1-877-885-7968 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.  Live Agents are available to assist you.

Q. I use the same password for everything and this site won’t accept it.
A. Account passwords must be a minimum of seven characters to be considered valid.

Q. Can I use a debit card?
A. Any Visa, Master Card or Discover Debit card can be used.

Q. The online payment processor is only letting me pay $300.00 and my CBPU bill is more than that amount.

A. $300.00 is the maximum payment amount you can pay per transaction.  For example, if your bill is $375.00, you can pay $300.00 on one transaction and then make another payment entry of $75.00 on a second transaction.  Your account will be charged $2.99 per transaction and this will result in separate confirmation / receipt numbers.

Q. Why is there is a convenience fee added to my bill when I pay online?

A. This is a standard fee for the use of online payments collected by our online payment processor.  The CBPU does offer Auto Pay, which automatically deducts your payment from a checking or savings account on the due date of the bill.  The Auto Pay program does not charge a fee and deducts the balance due on your bill.

Q. If I make a payment online after being disconnected for nonpayment, will my services be automatically turned back on?
A. No.  Once you have been disconnected for nonpayment, you must call or stop into our office during business hours to get your services reconnected.

Q. I cannot view the attachment with my billing statement.

A. You will either need to disable your pop-up blocker or change your security settings to allow downloads from this site.

Q. Why does my December electric bill seem as high as my summer electric bill even though I should be using less since I am not running my air conditioning?

A. The usages and amounts shown are by billing cycle.  Not every billing cycle has the same number of days between meter readings.  The BPU tries to maintain meter reads between 28 and 32 days, but that is not always possible.  So, some billing periods may include a larger number of billing days than others.  If you have questions please contact our office and we can provide you with the number of billing days in each billing cycle.
